This remarkable young woman overcame her severe disability to master an amazing piece of classical music:
Drake Music SW student playing a Bach cello piece using assistive music technology. When Drake SW first started working with Charlotte, she expressed an interest in playing classical music. Using her head to play a motion sensor, and working with Drake Music tutor Doug Bott, Charlotte learnt to play an abridged arrangement of the Prelude to Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major (see attached document for a full explanation) Charlotte is an exceptional musician and rehearsed extremely hard to get the piece to a performance level. She used the performance as part of her Bronze Arts Award. She is now studying music at college, and continues to work with Drake Music.
